This acai is dark slight reddish purple and finer than our acai with camu camu since it was picked from the region of Manaus which produces more of a slight reddish dark purple berry but packs just as many antioxidants, normally we pick from our wild harvested crops in the region of Belem which has a darker berry though this one is just as favorable as the acai in Belem though just a little less dark purple which we find makes it more water soluble which is why we chose this one along with our darker coarser acai berry with camu camu mix above.
It takes 10kg of our acai pulp puree to make 1kg of our organic freeze dried acai powder.
